located on the south side of Bahama’s Grand Bahama Island, Celebration Key is designed exclusively for Carnival guests. It’s perfect for adults and families alike, and is home to a mile-long white sand beach, freshwater lagoons and five portals for your enjoyment.
Paradise Plaza welcomes you to the Key. It boasts the world’s largest sandcastle, The Suncastle, a large, 10-story sandcastle. Visit Guest Services to book your excursion if you haven’t already done so. Enjoy live music in the Plaza, and stick around for the lively Junkaroo Parade. You can also visit Yumshine Scoops for some delicious ice cream, or pick up forgotten essentials at Fun for The Sun.
Calypso Lagoon, an adult-friendly portal, is the largest freshwater lagoon in the Caribbean. Relax the day away in a cabana, daybed or super villa, or check out one of the sports courts, and get down with some beach volleyball or basketball. If the bar is more your thing, stop by Sunshine Swings Bar, where the seats are really swings, or swim over to Long Necks Swim-Up Bar, the world’s largest swim-up bar. This portal also is home to DJ Island for live musical fun and dancing.
Starfish Lagoon is the place for families, making it the ideal place to enjoy it all, all together. Relax around the world’s largest freshwater lagoon, or visit Guppy Grotto, coral-reef themed splash pad featuring a 2-foot deep lake aiding pool and a wide variety of water toys. Hit the iconic Suncastle that you can actually climb and slide down the waterslides, Flash Flamingo or Mach III Marlin. Unwind with the family in one of the unique private rentals like daybeds, floating AquaBanas, lagoon-side cabanas or beach villas.
Pearl Cove Beach Club is another adult-only portal. Never leave the stunning infinity pool for a drink with the swim-up bar. It offers poolside and beachfront dining options, and access to an exclusive stretch of Celebration Key’s mile-long beach.
Lokono Cove is a colorful showcase of Bahamanian culture and shopping, where you can bring home something truly spectacular…and duty free. Take a break at Suncastle Grounds Coffee to pick up some delicious fuel for the day: hot, iced, or frozen, before exploring the traditional Bahamian artisan market for handmade treasures.
